Unlike many professions, an estate agent does not have to belong to a professional body which means their conduct and working practices do not have to conform to a strict code of conduct designed to protect you, the consumer.

At Graham Butt Estate Agents we belong to a number of professional bodies, including the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) and The Property Ombudsman, which hopefully will give you the confidence that we are a company that you can trust.

Before you choose an estate agent, ask if they are a member of a professional body. If the answer is no, you may want to ask why not?
