Landlords can enjoy favourable returns from their rental investments providing they appoint a reputable letting agent who is adequately qualified and equipped to handle matters effectively on their behalf. However making the wrong choice can often prove to be an expensive mistake!
Graham Butt have been established for over 50 years and over the last five decades have assisted thousands of landlords. Some own a single rental investment whilst others retain small or large portfolios.
We remain a family run and totally Independent Estate & Lettings Agent, and always strive to offer a very personal service to every one of our clients.
We have two basic principles that we apply to all of our Landlords. Firstly, that ‘We would not knowingly rent a property to a tenant whom we would not be happy to rent our own homes to!’ and secondly, ‘We act for our Landlords first, not the Tenant’. These principals are factors that have made more and more Landlords, return to us time and again.
As a member firm of ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents), we are a regulated agent. Therefore, all client money is automatically protected. Unfortunately unregulated agents will offer you no such guarantees.
Most lettings agents earn an introductory fee from plumbers, builders and other trades used to maintain your home. Instead of using the best tradesman, they will use the one offering the biggest return fee.
At Graham Butt Lettings we believe that this is unethical. We take no fee from any of our tradesman – and only instruct the best to work on your property.
